Gemma is a new TOS-look that provides all windows with a fresh and innovative design that can compete with the look of other operating systems. It is optimized for modern screen resolutions and color depths.

The window look is supported by a matching start button design and desktop background picture. A remarkable feature of the Gemma desktop picture is its functional trisection:

• The lower bar is reserved for a task bar like Appline or for iconized windows.
• The wide bar on the right is a place for disk symbols, important folders, the trash can, and a desktop clock like CLOCK.ACC.
• The center area remains for the directory and application windows.
